i will wait

this has been on my heart lately.  do you often feel like the Lord is constantly telling you to wait?  or maybe it feels more like He is holding out on you.  But that's not how God works.  He asks us to wait. 

Wait, for His timing is perfect. 

Wait, for He knows better.

Wait, for He is Sovereign.

Wait, for He is faithful.

"I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." Lamentations 3:24

"But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me." Micah 7:7

"LORD, I wait for you; you will answer, Lord my God." Psalm 38:15

Whatever you are asking God for, keep asking, but wait.  Listen for His still, soft voice and wait. He will answer.
